Mix a character from parts, recolor it, and download it. Every character carries the six device expressions (open, blink, happy, sleepy, worried, alert). Download 6-frame saves all expressions as one strip, ready to use as a custom mascot. PNG saves the current frame.

To ship a mascot, save the strip next to your brand's config.yaml and add the snippet above to it. The category is the pack it appears under on the device and must be listed in mascot.enabled, otherwise it is left out of the build. The firmware build crops, scales, and quantizes the image to the device palette. A single image also works but stays static on the device. Only a 6-frame strip animates.
